How the business days calculation works
The calculator walks through the selected date range and removes Saturdays and Sundays. If the public-holiday option is enabled, it also removes the common nationwide 2026 holidays stored in this static tool. It does not call an external holiday API and does not know regional, company-specific or contract-specific days off.
Example
If a period has 31 calendar days, 8 weekend days and 1 selected public holiday, the result is 22 business days.
Limitations
Use this as a planning calculator. For legal deadlines, court deadlines, tax filings or contractual notice periods, verify the exact rule with the competent authority or advisor.
