How the invoice due date is calculated
The calculator adds the selected number of calendar days to the invoice date. If the adjustment option is enabled and the resulting due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or selected public holiday, the due date rolls forward until it lands on a business day.
Example
An invoice dated 1 July with 30-day terms has a raw due date of 31 July. If that date were a weekend and the roll-forward option were enabled, the calculator would move it to the next business day.
Important boundary
This is an admin planning tool. Contract wording, statutory payment rules, interest claims and formal legal deadlines may follow different rules.
